What’s The Best Class for Each Character in Visions of Mana?

Not all classes are created equal. So, let’s look at each character and some options for their best class in Visions of Mana.

In Visions of Mana, the true power of your characters lies in unlocking and utilizing the abilities that can be shared between classes. However, each class offers exclusive passive abilities.

The most effective strategy is to gather as many of these shared abilities as possible, allowing for versatile and powerful character builds. But you need to put them on the right class.

Below is a breakdown of the best classes for each character, focusing on maximizing their strengths.

What’s the best class to choose in Visions of Mana

Val

Val’s strongest class is undoubtedly the Duelist, where he wields a greatsword with a massive attack stat. However, his magic attack becomes the lowest among his classes so this is a mostly physical attacker. Duelist’s passive ability to potentially freeze enemies with each strike makes him a powerhouse in physical combat. Val can also use his skills from other classes to buff his allies with elemental attack power, canceling out his low magical output.

Alternatively, you can opt for Val’s Aegis class, which focuses on pure defense. This class transforms Val into a nearly indestructible tank, perfect for absorbing damage while your other characters unleash their abilities.

Careena

I am a sucker for a dragoon, and Careena’s Dragon Master class is a decent one. With her lance providing both reach and power, his class excels in delivering strong physical attacks while maintaining mobility.

However, if you prefer a more magical approach, Careena has options. Her Conjurer class offers fantastic support capabilities with her fan-based attacks. This also allows her to summon allies to further provide backup.

Morley

In my opinion, Morely has one of the best classes in the entire game with the Nightblade. The class turns him into a critical hit machine. The Nightblade’s passive ability boosts his critical hit rate to near-guaranteed levels, allowing him to deal massive damage. His Class Strike also deals individual hits, meaning multiple opportunities for crits.

I never took the moon element off Morley. However, If you want to diversify, Morley’s Samurai class offers a katana-based alternative that still capitalizes on his high damage potential.

Palamena

Reaper is the last class Palamena unlocks, but man is it a fun one. Her damage output is high and she can even absorb some of the damage she puts out, healing her. Pair that with the range from her scythe and balanced, but high, stats and she’s deadly.

For a more ranged and supportive role, the Magus class lets Palamena stay on the outskirts of battle, casting powerful spells and supporting her team from afar.

Julei

Julei is the only real party member who has healing focused abilities, so that should be his role at all times. The best role for that is the High Cleric class which boosts all his healing abilities. However, I suggest throwing him into the Gatekeeper class.

Julei can still heal effectively in this class while also providing solid offensive support. Also, Gatekeeper has one of the best passive abilities in the game. Anytime a character falls below 50% they get a health regeneration buff. This is incredibly clutch to have and why Julei became a main party member very quickly.
