What to Do With Gold Beetles in Metaphor: ReFantazio

From basically the start of Metaphor: ReFantazio, you may find Gold Beetles flying around or on the walls in towns and dungeons. There’ll be teaser text saying they might be useful. However, it isn’t until you reach Port Brilehaven that you can finally put them to good use.

What do I do with Gold Beetles in Metaphor: ReFantazio?

Almost immediately after getting to Port Brilehaven in Metaphor: ReFantazio, which happens on July 20th in-game, you can go meet the NPC that will trade you rewards for Gold Beetles. After you enter the town, head to one of the small boats that will ferry you to different sections. Choose Arenafront Wharf. That’s where you’ll find the Elderly Entomophile.

This is actually someone you met when you encountered a certain Human opponent while initially hunting for Heismay. He’s now back in the world again and looking for Gold Beetles. If you bring certain amounts, you get free stuff.

What are the Gold Beetle rewards?

Depending on how many bugs you turn in, you get certain items. So right away when you meet the elderly gentleman and turn in one, you get one item. But for the better rewards, you need to collect all of them.

• 12: Venomward Charm accessory
• 25: Claw Breakers glove weapon
• 38: Flameseal Corslet armor
• 46: Dragon’s Fall sword weapon
