What to Do With Extra Pals in Palworld

In Palworld, you’re likely to quickly find yourself with a lot of extra pals. With the game encouraging you to catch at least ten of each Pal for EXP, you’ll soon find yourself wanting to clear some space in your Palbox by getting rid of some of the duplicates.

Sell extra Pals in Palworld

One way to get rid of extra Pals is to simply sell them to the merchants who trade in them. They are presented with various degrees of legality but they largely all function the same way.

The first notable merchant you can find lives in the Small Settlement southwest of the Rayne Syndicate Tower. Near the Fast Travel point, there are some huts on an elevated patch of ground. One of these is where you’ll find the Pal Merchant.

The Black Marketeer is another notable merchant. He can be found near the Desolate Church Fast Travel point. Head roughly west from here and head down to the lower ground. You can find the Abandoned Mineshaft under a rocky area. Follow this down and you’ll find the Black Marketeer.

Both of these merchants will buy Pals from you in exchange for Gold. They also have their own stock of Pals for you to buy that rotates regularly.

Use the Pal Essence Condenser in Palworld on extra Pals

You can also remove extra Pals from the Palbox using the Pal Essence Condenser. This is a device that can combine a bunch of duplicate Pals into one, with the remaining Pal obtaining the strength of those being removed.

To unlock the Pal Essence Condenser, you need to be at least level 14 and have 1 Ancient Technology Point. To build it, you will need 20 Ingots, 20 Paldium Fragments and 5 Ancient Civilization Parts.

To use the Pal Essence Condenser, first select the Pal you would like to strengthen. Then you need to select four Pals of the same species to sacrifice. When you condense these Pals, the initial Pal will receive multiple benefits, including an increase to their Partner Skill and Work Suitability, but their base stats will increase by 5%.

Palworld is out now in Early Access for PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
