Golf, or something at least vaguely like it, will be coming to another platform. On May 21, 2020, the What the Golf? Switch port will appear. It’ll be $19.99 USD/€19.99/£17.99 normally via the eShop, but a 25% discount is in effect for the game.

What’s also notable about the What the Golf? Switch port is that it brings in an entirely new mode. This version will launch with Party Mode. This is a local two-player option. When enabled, both people will be trying to reach the flag at once, adding another player’s actions to the already existing hazards trying to keep people from getting to the end of the course. While this mode won’t be permanently exclusive to the system, it is temporarily only going to appear on Nintendo’s platform.

Here’s a video showing how it will work. There will be a shared and split-screen options for multiplayer, which apparently vary depending on the stage.

Other features will be exclusive to the system. There will be gyro motion controls for some levels and, if you play in Handheld or Tabletop mode, you could use the touch screen.

The What the Golf? Switch version will make its debut on May 21, 2020. It is immediately available on Apple iOS devices and on PCs via the Epic Games Store.
