Final Fantasy VII Rebirth release date

With the overwhelmingly positive reception to 2020’s Final Fantasy VII Remake, it’s no surprise fans have been ravenous for the next installment. Luckily, players don’t have to wait much longer to get their hands on the HD remake, as the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth release date is February 29, 2024.

After the long wait since the first installment, this will surely be a day some of you might be calling in sick for. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is releasing exclusively on the PS5. While it’s highly likely we will later see the game come to at least the PC, as the first game did, this won’t be until the exclusivity arrangement ends on May 29, 2024. For now, it’s PS5 only if you want to play Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.

What time will Final Fantasy VII Rebirth release?

Like Final Fantasy XVI before it, PlayStation users will likely be able to play and download the game at midnight in their region. As a result of time zones, some players in North America will even be able to launch the game on Wednesday, February 28th, at 9 pm Pacific. For most of the world though, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth release time will be Thursday, February 29th at midnight.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will come to the PS5 on February 29, 2024, with the console exclusivity arrangement ending on May 29, 2024.
