What Are the System Requirements for Path of Exile 2?

Path of Exile 2 is a modern sequel coming many years after the beloved action RPG original. As you might expect, it is going to be a bit more impressive visually and equally demanding. Here is what you should know about the Path of Exile 2 system requirements, if you wish to play it on PC.

Path of Exile 2 Minimum System Requirements, Explained

It should be noted that this is genuinely a modern experience. The original Path of Exile came out in 2013, which is well over a decade ago at this point. It is, understandably, going to be much more intensive and demanding. If you want to have the bare minimum specs for this experience, here are the system requirements you need to know about:

  • OS: Windows 10
  • Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-7700 or AMD™ Ryzen 5 2500x
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 960 (3GB), Intel® Arc™ A380, or ATI Radeon™ RX 470
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage: 100 GB available space
  • Additional Notes: A GPU with at least 3GB of VRAM is required

For Steam Deck users like myself, it is currently unknown if this will be playable. That said, based on the requirements, it could be viable on minimum settings. For now, though, we will have to wait and see.

In general, you want to be able to meet the recommended system requirements for Path of Exile 2. This is going to offer a much more worthwhile experience. It will look how it should and run pretty well. However, these specs are much more demanding than the minimum. You have double the RAM, a much stronger GPU, and more.

  • OS: Windows 10
  • Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-10500 or AMD™ Ryzen 5 3700X
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX 2060, Intel® Arc™ A770, or ATI Radeon™ RX 5600XT
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage: 100 GB available space
  • Additional Notes: Solid State Storage is recommended

Path of Exile 2 releases in early access for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on December 6, 2024.
