We Might Get More Silent Hill F and Townfall News in 2025

When giving his 2024 retrospective and 2025 resolution to 4Gamer, Motoi Okamoto promised some news on Silent Hill F and Silent Hill Townfall next year. Though this has nothing to do with the Silent Hill franchise, Okamoto also mentioned that No Case Should Remain Unsolved from Somi was the game that impressed him the most this year. News for Silent Hill appeared at the end of Okamoto’s message to readers. He first commented on how Konami successfully released Silent Hill 2 Remake, and that it was well-received from fans and critics alike. Of the remaining announced titles from the Silent Hill franchise, there’s only F and Townfall left. He hopes that he can give everyone more news on those games, and that everyone’s working hard to make sure they can meet fan expectations.

Okamoto also comments that Silent Hill is a series with a lot of history, and it’s also one that’s gone through a lot of challenges over the years. It’s important that fans can enjoy a remake that the developers put a lot of work into making, with a high-quality story they know they can enjoy. He also wants to come up with innovative ideas that present a new way to enjoy horror. Silent Hill: Ascension, Silent Hill: The Short Message, and Red Reaper: The Dead’s Statement of Guilt are all examples of these new concepts.

Silent Hill 2 Remake is on the PS5 and Windows PC. Meanwhile, Silent Hill Townfall and F are still in development.
