WayForward Brings Mighty Switch Force: Hyper Drive Edition To PC With Leaderboards

Mighty Switch Force previously made the leap from 3DS to Wii U, getting the HD treatment in the process. Now WayForward has released the game on Steam for Windows.

 

As with the Wii U version, Mighty Switch Force: Hyper Drive Edition contains Hyper versions of the game’s 21 levels once you’ve been through them all once. But what the PC version has that was sadly missing on the Wii U is leaderboards. You can finally compete against other players for the best times through levels with ease.

Other than that it’s the same game. You play as cybernetic police officer Patricia Wagon as she chased down the Space Hooligans that are running riot all over Planet Land. It’s a 2D action-platformer that emphasizes speed. It also has a shape-shifting, dimension switching mechanic found in the use of Wagon’s Helmet Siren.
