Kai no Kiseki will feature a new continuation in the long-running Kiseki / Trails series. This game’s story will take place right after the second Trails through Daybreak entry, which is still only available in Japan and Asia as of mid-2024.

The new game will primarily feature characters from the Trails through Daybreak duology like Van Arkride and Agnes Claudel as the main party members. However, it will also have the return of characters from earlier series entries, such as Kevin Graham from Trails in the Sky and Rean Schwarzer from the Trails of Cold Steel sub-series.

The opening movie also showcases the game’s theme song “Shiroi Sekai.” The Japanese title could be translated to “White World.” Falcom jdk Band performed this new song.
