Watch the Kenny Omega AEW Entrance Theme by Soken and Uematsu

Ahead of Wrestle Dynasty 2025, Kenny Omega announced his new “Take Flight” entrance theme involved Final Fantasy composers Masayoshi Soken and Nobuo Uematsu, as well as FFXIV singer Jason Charles Miller, and now All Elite Wrestling (AEW) uploaded the full song and video on YouTube. While someone might not see it in its entirety ahead of a match, this version is over four and a half minutes long.

Masayoshi Soken is the composer for the track and, while he’s best known for FFXIV, he’s worked on a number of Final Fantasy games and other Square Enix titles. For example, one of his most recent works was FFXVI. While Nobuo Uematsu is renowned for his work as a Final Fantasy composer, here he contributed a “special voice” to the song. JC Miller, who sang the FFXIV theme songs “Close the Distance,” “Shadowbringers,” and “To the Edge,” contributed vocals here starting at about the one minute mark. Many of the themes and instrumentals call to mind past entries in the series. Likewise, the fires behind Kenny Omega’s name and logo also resemble ones associated with characters like Sephiroth.

Here is the full Kenny Omega AEW “Take Flight” entrance theme. While it debuted at Wrestle Dynasty 2025, it’s been used since then as well.

As a reminder, in the past Kenny Omega has dressed as Final Fantasy characters for matches. He dressed as Sephiroth for NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17 in 2023. He also took part in the Like a Dragon Gaiden AEW match
