God Eater: Resurrection is an upcoming PlayStation 4 and Vita title, which is an enhanced version of God Eater Burst. Bandai Namco shared the game’s latest trailer in addition to details on its release date and first-print bonuses. [Thanks, Game Jouhou.]
First-print copies of God Eater: Resurrection will feature a bonus content called “Another Character Lindow,” which shows the character wielding the Charge Spear, a weapon that was introduced in God Eater 2.
Lindow won’t be the only one with a new weapon, as the six weapons that come from God Eater 2 and God Eater 2: Rage Burst will also be added to the mix.
Additionally, there will also be a “Cross-Play Pack & Anime Vol. 1” set, which is basically a bundle that features the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita versions of God Eater: resurrection, along with a Blu-ray disc of the anime.
There will also be more to the Cross-Play Pack & Anime bundles, with volumes 2 through 7 having an extra “God Eater: Offshot games. These are basically extra games that allow you to get characters and put them in different poses to take pictures.
The volumes will release on a monthly basis, and will also feature their own characters:
- Vol. 2: Lindow on November 26th
- Vol. 3: Alisa on December 23rd
- Vol. 4: Soma on January 28th
- Vol. 5: Shio on February 25th
- Vol. 6: Kota on March 24th
- Vol. 7: Sakuya on April 21st
God Eater: Resurrection will release in Japan on October 29, 2015 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
