Warhawk to be sold on Blu-ray discs and on the Playstation Store

Just like SOCOM: Confrontation Sony has a two pronged approach for selling Warhawk. Warhawk will be available to purchase on the Playstation Store and at a retail store on a Blu-ray disc. The retail package of Warhawk will have extras like developer interviews and a Bluetooth headset. Buying Warhawk online will be cheaper, but Sony has not announced a price for either release. Like SOCOM, Warhawk is exclusively an online game where players pilot the Warhawk with tilt control. Besides aerial combat you can play as a ground soldier with a flamethrower or hop into a buggy and drive around the battlefield. Up to 32 players can be on a battlefield at the same time when Sony releases Warhawk this fall. If you’re interested in Warhawk there is an open beta that starts on May 24th and there is supposed to be information about it on the offical site.
