Warframe PS5 Version Will Include Cross-play, Cross-saves

Remember back when the PlayStation 4 launched on November 15, 2020? Warframe was there as a free-to-play  game alongside it. It won’t be there right when the PlayStation 5 launches. However, Digital Extremes confirmed on the PlayStation Blog that the Warframe PS5 version will launch in 2020 with both cross-platform play and saves.

The PS5 version of Warframe will take into account what the new system is capable of, while still allowing people to continue on their adventures. For example, there will be new Challenge and Progress Activities to participate in on the new system, with DualSense support for adaptive triggers, a better lighting system, shorter loading times, and 60fps at 4K support. Your profiles will let you carry your Tenno’s progress over and continue to play with people on another platform, say the PS4.

Here’s the Warframe PS5 comparison trailer, which offers multiple side-by-side looks of the free-to-play game running on each system. It shows off graphics updates and improved loading times.
