Idol Corp announced that Vtuber Yuko Yurei will graduate from the company. Her final stream will be on May 31, 2024, which will be at the end of a five-day marathon stream (ongoing as of the time of writing).
The statement acknowledged Yuko’s hard work in reaching all of her donothon goals during the marathon, and it said some of them will come out soon after her graduation. It went on to say that she was a cherished member of the company and the staff are sad to see her go. However, it wished her well and noted that she will “shine brightly wherever she goes.”
While Yuko retweeted the company’s statement, she has not shared anything herself after that aside from advertising her marathon stream. The last tweet she made before the announcement from Idol Corp was one teasing new content on her channel, as well as more marathon goals.
Yuko Yurei is an English VTuber and idol who debuted in November 2022 as a part of E-Sekai. Other talents who were part of this generation include Fuyo Cloverfield and Rin Penrose. As of the time of writing, Yuko has over 232k subscribers on her YouTube channel. Her content consists of gaming streams, covers, and vlogging.
