VTuber Koshien 2024 to Take Place in Spring

VTuber Tenkai Tsukasa announced that the Spring VTuber Koshien will take place from February 1, 2024 to March 24, 2024. This is the first time in five years that the Spring VTuber Koshien will be held. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]

The Spring VTuber Koshien will use Konami’s eBaseball Power Pros 2022. August 2019 was the last time there was a Koshien, and archives of the matches still exist on YouTube. VTubers from multiple agencies, including Nijisanji and Hololive, will participate. It’s unknown of international branches such as Nijisanji EN will be present. Shiina Yuika of Nijisanji, Hakui Koyori of Hololive, and Shibuya Haru of Neo-Porte will be the three managers for the tournament.

VTubers can start streaming themselves training up their teams from March 1, 2024. Teams will comprise of VTubers that each coach chooses. For example, for the 2019 tournament, Shiina took VTubers like Kanae, Uzuki Kou, and Tsukino Mito. The league rounds will take place from March 18 to 23, 2024. Finally, the tournament will be on March 24, 2024. You’ll be able to keep up with it by following participating VTubers, or through Tenkai Tsukasa’s streams.
