VShojo’s Zentreya Wants to Fund a Vtuber Debut

VShojo Vtuber Zentreya announced on social media that she would “want to try” funding an individual’s Vtuber debut. At the moment, this potential project seems to still be in the development phase, as she noted it is something she considered “for quite awhile.”

Zentreya first brought up potentially funding a Vtuber ahead of a debut on July 14, 2024. At the time, she outlined what she’d potentially want to provide for a newcomer. Some of the things she would fund would be assets, the character sheet, the design, the model art, and rigging of the model. In her follow-up messages, she also clarified that she would personally pay for everything if this does happen. She also noted that people who are just getting started can get “advice for free.”

This comes as VShojo opened auditions for both its English and Japanese branches. The notice for Japanese Vtubers went out at the very beginning of July 2024. Meanwhile, the English call went out over a week after that.

Zentreya started out as an independent Vtuber back in November 2017. She joined VShojo three years later. She was one of the company’s founding members alongside Apricot the Lich (Froot), Hime Hajime, Ironmouse, and Projekt Melody.
