VShojo Vtuber Zentreya announced on social media that she received a Twitch warning email for “Content Classification – Sexual Themes” on September 16, 2024. She clarified in the announcement that it seemed for “the equivalent of a one piece swimsuit for less than five minutes.”
Here’s the statement Zentreya made, which also included the screenshot of the Twitch email warning the Vtuber for sexual themes. The email and her didn’t didn’t cite a specific stream. However on September 15, 2024, she wore and showed off the 3D 2.0 Cyber Outfit, which has an option to remove the shorts and jacket and toggle to a swimsuit.
Here’s a screenshot of the tweet she made.
After that statement, Zentreya did clarify in a follow-up tweet that, “Now mind you this isn’t a ban, this is a warning, but if I show the swimsuit toggle for even a minute, I will most likely be banned.” She also went on to clarify that she owned and used that outfit for over two years and never got any sort of warning for using it.
Zentreya isn’t the only VShojo Vtuber who has had issues with services, though Twitch wasn’t the issue with another performer with the company. Ironmouse used to have a YouTube VOD channel in addition to her Twitch one. That was deleted due to copyright strikes in September 2024.
Zentreya started out as an independent Vtuber back in 2017, before joining VShojo as one of its founding members streaming on Twitch in 2020. Her most recent stream aired on September 16, 2024, and it involved her playing Fathom: Woodbury Getaway.
