Visual Out takes players into a mechanical, digital world that distorts and glitches as they explore, seeking out the reasons their computer world is dying.

Visual Out casts the player as a rogue program, determined to carrying out its tasks even as the world around it crumbles and shifts. It will have access to six different abilities over the course of the game, ranging from turrets, program jammers, and dash-like abilities that will help players deal with the strange foes and eerie landscapes that await them inside the computer. They will also have to shift the flow of power to different areas of the game in order to shift the environments in ways they need, changing the broken world in order to allow further progression.

Visual Out uses surreal pixel art and many types of visual distortion to create the sensation of being within a computer that is steadily breaking down. As players meander through these places of strange geometries, they will listen to ambient glitch tracks as well, backing up the distorted visuals with distorted sound.
