MSX games are finally coming to the Virtual Console after lingering on the Japanese release schedule since last year. EGGY is pictured on the right. You can see a bit of ALESTE, a vertical shoot ‘em up in the video below.

Other titles coming to Japan’s Virtual Console include Front Mission: Gun Hazard, which will act as a prelude to Front Mission 2089: Border of Madness for the Nintendo DS. The games couldn’t be more different. Unlike the other games in the series, Front Mission: Gun Hazard is a side scrolling, mecha action game.
After a period of absence three Neo Geo games will come out on the virtual console. The OFLC recently rated two of them. Perhaps, we will see Burning Fight and Ninja Combat outside of Japan this month?
