Sony officially announced their plan to bring downloadable video services to “key Sony products”. The first step starts this summer with the PlayStation Network. Sony's video download service has been an open secret for months, but a photo from the presentation over at Impress Watch gives an idea about how much the service will cost. Ghost Rider, a 2007 film, costs $5.99 for a HD rental and $12.99 to purchase a SD quality video. These numbers may not be final since Sony has not made an official statement regarding the prices. No information was given if the videos will be PSP compatible either.
