While Pokken Tournament may only have 12 confirmed playable characters at the moment, that doesn’t cover all of the Pokemon in the game. Some show up as Support Pokemon to aid your character. 12 had been revealed so far, but four more have been added to that roster.
Dragonite, Rotom, Togekiss, and Victini have been added to Pokken Tournament. They join Eevee, Electrode, Emolga, Farfetch’d, Fennekin, Frogadier, Jirachi, Lapras, Mismagius, Ninetails, Snivy, and Whimsicott. Their abilities within the game are unknown, but other support characters offer attacks, buffs, and debuffs. For example, Jirachi fills the Burst gauge, Fennekin uses a fire attack, and Eevee boosts your attack and recovers your health.
Pokken Tournament will be released March 18 in Japan for the Nintendo Wii U. It will appear sometime in 2016 for North America and Europe. It’s currently only available in arcades.
