A free update for Untitled Goose Game, the indie hit from developer House House, was announced in Nintendo’s Indie World presentation on August 18, 2020. The update, which is slated for release on September 23, adds two-player cooperative play.
The free update will be released on all platforms, allowing players to work together through the entirety of the game’s campaign. Also releasing on September 23, 2020 are the Steam and Itch.io versions of Untitled Goose Game, co-op update included.
Untitled Goose Game co-op gives players a new excuse to return to a game that sold over a million copies. We took at look at the game at its initial Nintendo Switch release, and found it to be a great simulation of being a jerk. Now you can be a jerk with a friend!
The Untitled Goose Game co-op update announcement was featured in Nintendo’s August 2020 Indie World presentation, a 20-minute video that covered Nintendo Switch games from smaller developers. Also featured at the event were Hades, Hypnospace Outlaw, Spiritfarer, Garden Story, Subnautica, Takeshi & Hiroshi, Raji: An Ancient Epic, Bear & Breakfast, A Short Hike, Card Shark, Torchlight III, Manifold Garden and Evergate.
