Unicorn Overlord Demo Out Now on Nintendo Switch

A demo for Unicorn Overlord is now available from the Nintendo Switch eShop. The announcement was made during the February 2024 Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase.

In a short trailer showcasing a host of gameplay features from Unicorn Overlord, Atlus also confirmed that a demo was coming to the Nintendo eShop alongside the presentation. Save data from the demo will carry over to the full game when it releases in March 2024. The demo appears to be exclusive to the Switch, with no news on it arriving for other systems.

Unicorn Overlord is the latest game from Vanillaware, a respected RPG developer whose works include GrimGrimoire, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim and Dragon’s Crown. Unicorn Overlord is a strategy RPG with up to 60 playable characters. It’s also apparently going to be one of the developer’s biggest games. The last title it made with some strategic elements was 13 Sentinels, which had real-time battles along with its adventure gameplay.

Unicorn Overlord will release on March 8, 2024 for the Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4 and Xbox Series X/S. A demo is available now for Nintendo Switch.
