Unicorn Overlord Gets Normal Difficulty in Update V1.01

The day-one update adds new difficulty levels for Unicorn Overlord that were not originally available in the demo. Whereas previously, only 3 difficulty options were selectable, the update will add one new level for a total of 4. These are Story, Normal, Tactical, and Expert difficulty modes. Furthermore, after downloading and installing the patch, players will be able to transfer their progress from the demo into the final release.

Atlus also shared that the new Normal difficulty level is equivalent to the easiest difficulty level (Casual, Sweet, or Story, depending on the version of the game) found in the demo version, and the new Story difficulty is an even easier option for players wanting to focus on enjoying the narrative. Additionally, all difficulty levels have been slightly balanced for the final release.

Unicorn Overlord will come out on March 8, 2024 for the Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X. A demo is available, and save data can be carried over to the full release.
