According to Xbox Game Pass’ official website, a number of games will be leaving Xbox Game Pass in two weeks, meaning they will be gone sometime during the week of March 12, 2023. Notable games leaving the service include Undertale, Zero Escape: The Nonary Games, and Square Enix’s Guardians of the Galaxy. Undertale has been part of the service for a year, while Zero Escape: The Nonary Games has been available for two. [Thanks, Wario64!]
The full list of games that will be leaving the service is as follows:
- F1 2020
- Goat Simulator
- Guardians of the Galaxy
- Kentucky Route Zero: TV edition
- Paradise Killer
- Undertale
- Young Souls
- Zero Escape: The Nonary Games
Among the most notable games leaving the service is Undetale, which joined Xbox Game Pass in 2021. It was the first release from game developer and composer Toby Fox. Released in 2015, the game follows the story of a human who falls into an underground world of monsters. The game is known for deconstructing RPG tropes and conventions such as experience points and the need to kill monsters to gain them.
Zero Escape: The Nonary Games is a compilation of the first two Zero Escape games, 9 hours 9 persons 9 doors, and Virtue’s Last Reward. The collection originally landed on Game Pass in 2022. Both of the included titles are adventure games featuring people trapped in closed spaces where they must work together to escape.
Those wishing to check out some of these games before they leave the Xbox Game Pass have until the week of March 12, 2023 to do so. After that, you can find Undertale on PCs via Steam, the PS4, Xbox One, Series X, and Switch. Zero Escape: The Nonary Games can be found on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
