Way back in July 2020, we finally saw announcements and images confirming the tumultuous Uncharted movie filming had begun. We didn’t get any behind-the-scenes looks at anything, but now we have a better idea of what to expect. That’s because Uncharted movie set photos were shared by both Tom Holland, who is playing Nathan Drake, and Nolan North, the voice of Nate in the video games. We even get our first look at Holland as a young Nate.
First, here’s Holland’s Twitter post showing him in costume and on the set.
It’s nice to meet you, I’m Nate. #uncharted pic.twitter.com/v79Mvy26iH

North’s Twitter account offered a few more Uncharted movie set photos, showing him with Holland as other staff members sat and worked in the background and some of the important items we’ll see in the film.
Like looking into a mirror! Proud to have @TomHolland1996 continuing the Drake legacy! Absolutely smashing it!

Just in case any of these tweets are deleted or removed, here is a full gallery of the four pictures shared on October 22, 2020.
The Uncharted movie is in development and has a July 16, 2021 release date at the moment. In addition to Holland, it also features Mark Wahlberg as Victor Sullivan and Antonio Banderas.
