Uesugi Kenshin is the SSR version of Nagao Kagetora, who was a free SR Lancer during the Gudaguda Final Honnoji 2019 event. For reference, Nagao Kagetora is the birth name of the famous Japanese war lord Uesugi Kenshin. Uesugi Kenshin’s Noble Phantasm, Bitenhassou Shiranui, increases her Arts performance for one turn. It will then remove a single target’s buffs, and then deal a powerful Arts attack. It will deal extra damage against enemies with the Man Attribute.

Like her Lancer counterpart, Nana Mizuki is the voice for Uesugi Kenshin. Mizuki is a singer and actress whose career started in 1997. Some of her more prominent roles include Fate from Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, Tamao in Shaman King, and Hinata in both Naruto and Boruto.

As for Uesugi Kenshin the actual person, he was a famous daimyo during the Sengoku period of Japan. He ruled over the Echigo province, which is around modern Niigata Prefecture. He had a rivalry with Takeda Shingen, who also appeared in Fate/Grand Order when the current Gudaguda Super Goryokaku event started in late November 2023. Due to his fame and exploits on the battlefield, he is a popular figure who has appeared in multiple video games and anime based on the Sengoku period.

Fate/Grand Order is readily available on mobile devices, with the Japanese server currently running the Uesugi Kenshin banner. The banner will end on December 19, 2023.
