Tying the world of Ivalice together: FF Tactics A2 crosses with the Lion War

So how does Final Fantasy XII, Final Fantasy Tactics, FF: Tactics Advance and FF: Tactics A2 the Sealed Grimoire come together? All of these games are set in Ivalice, the fantasy world introduced in Final Fantasy Tactics and it looks like most of the mashing up is going to happen in the PSP remake. First we saw Balthier appear in the PSP version and now the main character of FF: Tactics A2, Luso (or possibly Russo depending on how you read the katakana), makes a cameo appearance. Luso is a playable character, he has a unique “mob hunter” class and his battle command is “engage”. Unlike the heavy story of Final Fantasy Tactics FFTA2: The Sealed Grimoire is going to be lighter, more like Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. The story begins with the protagonist reading a book and getting pulled into the world of Ivalice. Ruso and his classmate Adel get sucked in and enter the fantasy universe. New features in Final Fantasy Tactics A2 are large boss monsters that take up several squares on the battlefield and summon animations similar to Final Fantasy Tactics where the game zooms out of the battle grid.
