Two FFVII Ever Crisis Soundtrack Songs Revealed

Square Enix revealed some songs from the Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis soundtrack. The company posted 90-second snippets of both “Main Theme for FFVII” and “Fight On!” on social media. Both tracks are remixes of music heard in the original Final Fantasy VII.

Main Theme of FFVII” is best known to Final Fantasy VII players as the world map music. The FFVII Ever Crisis version of the song is a sweeping orchestral arrangement. Meanwhile, “Fight On!” is the original Final Fantasy VII boss battle music. The Ever Crisis version is a metal remix similar to the one from Advent Children or Final Fantasy VII Remake.

Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis is an upcoming free-to-play mobile game that acts as a retelling of Final Fantasy VII and its associated games. It will release in episodic instalments and will use an ATB system based on the combat system in the original FFVII. Elements from Advent Children, Before Crisis, Crisis Core and Dirge of Cerberus will also feature in its story.

Square Enix recently revealed trailers showing off the cast of Ever Crisis, including Tifa Lockhart, Barret Wallace, Aerith Gainsborough and Zack Fair.

Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis is set to release for Android and iOS devices on September 7, 2023.
