Trigun Stargaze Anime Follows Stampede in 2026

Studio Orange finally shared an update on the Trigun Stargaze anime, the series that will follow the Trigun Stampede reboot, and it involves a tentative release window. We won’t see the new show until 2026. However, the studio and Crunchyroll already both confirmed that the show will be streaming on the service, just like its predecessor.

The announcement included a few other details. For example, there’s new key art from Kiyotaka Oshiyama. We also know Kazuyuki Fudeyasu will write its scripts, Kouji Tajima is the character designer, and Masako Sato will direct it.

While we were waiting for this latest anime news, a lot of merchandise appeared. Kotobukiya announced new figures based on this adaptation. In addition to one of Vash the Stampede, a Nicholas D. Wolfwood one is in the works. The last update on that from January 2025 involved Kotobukiya sharing an unpainted prototype. SuperGroupies also released a number of clothing items like wallets and coats based on characters from the series.

Trigun Stargaze will begin airing worldwide in 2026, with Crunchyroll handling streaming of the anime outside of Japan. Trigun Stampede is available now. Dark Horse Manga handled the manga.
