Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt will return, as Studio Trigger announced it at Anime Expo 2022, and it used the 2023 to talk more about it. At its panel, it confirmed it is taking over from Gainax, who handled the original anime back in 2010. There’s a first PV for the project. In addition, Good Smile Company announced new Pop Up Parade figures of Panty and Stocking.

The first PV for the series shows the angels Panty and Stocking as they begin to get involved in fighting Ghosts to presumably get back to heaven, as was the general motive in the original series.
Earlier at Anime Expo 2023, Good Smile Company revealed the unpainted prototypes for two Pop Up Parade figures based on the leads. There is no release date for either one yet.

As Twitter is experiencing issues that limited the number of tweets people can view and there are issues, here’s the key art for the revival of the series, as well as the prototypes of the two figures.
The original Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt manga appeared in 2010 from TAGRO and anime showed up that same year from Gainax. Both appeared worldwide. There’s no new launch date for the Studio Trigger revival yet.
