Tri-Ace’s 3DS RPG Has Augmented Reality Features Too

Bravely Default: Flying Fairy won’t be the only Nintendo 3DS role playing game that supports augmented reality. Beyond the Labyrinth from Konami and developer tri-Ace uses the 3DS’ cameras to make characters rise from paper markers too.

A limited edition bundle includes an "AR calendar," which lets players view a girl (probably the girl who guides you through the labyrinth) in different costumes. The Konamistyle bundle also includes the 3DS game, a soundtrack CD with 24 songs, poster, and cleaning cloth 9,315 yen ($117).

 

Beyond the Labyrinth comes out on January 19 in Japan.
