Toukiden 2 Heading West In Spring 2017

Back in September, Koei Tecmo confirmed Toukiden 2 would be released in North America and Europe in early 2017. Now, the release date has been narrowed even further. The action-RPG will appear outside of Japan in Spring 2017.

 

Taking place almost immediately after Toukiden: Kiwami, Toukiden 2 follows an entirely new Slayer, which players create and customize, as he or she joins with a number of companions to defeat Oni. Players will explore an open world, fighting Oni in an Otherworld divided into the Ages of Yore, Grace, Honor, War, Peace, and Chaos. Each age is inspired by a different period of Japanese history, offering different environments and enemies.

Toukiden 2 originally debuted on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita in Japan on July 28, 2016. Koei Tecmo has yet to confirm which platforms Toukiden 2 will release on in North America and Europe next year.
