Touken Ranbu Warriors Will Come to the West in May 2022

Touken Ranbu Musou will get a worldwide release. When DMM Games and Koei Tecmo published a presentation video for the upcoming game, the companies confirmed that it will also be available in English under the title Touken Ranbu Warriors on May 24, 2022.

The presentation video revealed the first full trailer for the upcoming Musou action game. It also confirmed that Tomohiko Sho, who previously worked on Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate, is leading Omega Force’s development team to work on the gameplay systems in Touken Ranbu Warriors. Mei Erikawa’s Ruby Party team is handling the game’s visuals.

Koei Tecmo opened an English website for Touken Ranbu Warriors. The company also provided an English subtitled version of the presentation video. You can watch the official English trailer for the game right below.

DMM Games will show more of the game at its own Tokyo Game Show 2021 stream on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at 23:00 JST (10 AM ET). It will feature demo gameplay footage performed by Tomoaki Maeno and Kengo Takanashi, the voice actors of Yamanbagiri Kunihiro and Chougi.

Touken Ranbu Warriors will be available worldwide on Nintendo Switch. DMM Games will release the game first in Japan and East Asia on February 17, 2022. Koei Tecmo will bring the English localization to the West on May 24, 2022. The PC version will appear exclusively on the Japanese DMM Game Player platform.
