Touken Ranbu Warriors Characters Showcased in English Switch Trailers

Touken Ranbu Warriors is heading to the Switch in May 2022 worldwide, perhaps helping to introduce the series and its characters to people outside Japan. While Koei Tecmo’s been slower about sharing English insights, there’s a one-two punch of videos. The latest two Touken Ranbu Warriors English trailers focus on its gameplay and Mikazuki Munechika’s team.

First, here’s the video looking at Touken Ranbu Warriors gameplay in English. It confirms that all the warriors, who are swords turned into attractive men, are trying to preserve the rightful flow of history. They fight the History Retrograde Army to keep the world safe. The gameplay video begins by showing its easy and regular control scheme modes, looking at Konnosuke will show people where to go, and picking out a partner to fight alongside. After that, it looks at how partners fight together, strengthening their bonds via Honmaru, and playing minigames.

The second video focuses on three Touken Ranbu Warriors characters. It is the First Team trailer. It starts by showing the leader, Mikazuki Munechika. After that, it shows Sengo Muramasa and Tonbokiri.

Touken Ranbu Warriors will come to the Switch in North America and Europe on May 24, 2022. It is also available on PCs in Japan. This is a single-player game with no multiplayer. The original game is also available in English online now.
