Mystery Gensokyo: The Tower of Desire features Reimu Hakurei as the protagonist, who’ll explore all kinds of randomly-generated dungeons while looking for the best drops.

You can increase the level of weapons in the game, which changes their appearance in addition to its parameters. Again, the game features a special system that lets you synthesize items whenever and wherever you go.

While it does sound like a simple roguelike, as you continue your adventure with Reimu, you’ll eventually encounter dungeons with special rules like “can’t take items,” and other challenges. You’ll get to take on dungeons by yourself or with an ally.

The Tower of Desire uses the PC version, Mystery Gensokyo 3 Plus, as a base, along with additional adjustments, such as a portable friendly UI and controls, along with a scenario and dungeons that are easier to play on the go. The Vita version will also add new partners, along with new systems and scenarios.

Finally, players will get to retrieve their item data from the PC version of Mystery Gensokyo 3 to the PlayStation Vita so they can start a new adventure using items they worked hard on getting on the PC title.
