Touch My Katamari, As Expected, Has A Colorful Opening Video

Namco Bandai is bringing the Katamari series to PlayStation Vita with Touch My Katamari, which is slated to be a launch title for the system worldwide.

By watching this video alone Touch My Katamari looks like any other Katamari game since the video doesn’t show any of the Vita specific features. Players can roll the katamari by flicking the touch screen and stretch it using the rear touch pad. Move your hands from the center to the left and right (as if you were opening a bag of chips) to create a log-like katamari that can roll underneath tables. Do the opposite motion and you can create a narrow, but tall katamari that can squeeze between buildings.

 

After the game comes out on December 17 in Japan (February 22 for North America), Namco Bandai will release additional stages as downloadable content.
