Broccoli said that prior to the delay, the creators worked hard, together with Sui Ishida and Shin Towada, towards its completion. However, everyone from the staff team decided that they wanted to deliver this title in flawless shape for the players.

Jack Jeanne is an opera-themed otome game for Nintendo Switch. Its story is written by Sui Ishida together with Shin Towada who worked on the Tokyo Ghoul light novels. The story follows an all-men’s opera troupe called Tamasaka. The troupe runs the Univers Opera School, known for its performances and upbringing talent. Protagonist Saki Tachibana gave up on theater, but due to a certain event, she’s given special permission to attend Univers so long as she meets two conditions. The first condition is to star in the final play at the end of the first year. The second condition is for her to hide the fact that she is a woman.

Jack Jeanne will release for the Nintendo Switch in Japan on December 3, 2020.
