Tokimeki Memorial is a long-running series of high school-based dating sim games made by Konami. While the original series let players romance pretty female students, Konami also made the Girl’s Side sub-series that instead have handsome male students to date with.

The development of Girl’s Side: 4th Heart means that there will finally be a new game coming after the entire series had been dormant for a long time. The last games released for both series were Tokimeki Memorial 4 on the PlayStation Portable in 2009 and Tokimeki Memorial Girl’s Side: 3rd Story, released for the Nintendo DS in June 2010 and PlayStation Portable in March 2012.

As a refresher, the main characters in this game have been known since 2019. The first five guys that can be dated were revealed in April 2019. Konami later added the sixth love interest candidate with Inori Himuro in July and introduced the homeroom teacher Kojiro Mikage in September 2019.

Tokimeki Memorial Girl’s Side: 4th Heart is currently under development for the Nintendo Switch. Although the otome game was initially slated for release in 2020, the Japanese teaser site has changed the release window to TBA.
