In celebration of Titan Quest’s 10 year anniversary, THQ Nordic (previously known as Nordic Games) is giving away Titan Quest Anniversary Edition for free on Steam to those who already own Titan Quest, Titan Quest: Immortal Throne, or Titan Quest Gold. For those who do not have the game, THQ Nordic is discounting the game at launch.
In a note posted on Steam, the publisher shares that the free giveaway and significantly discounted launch for the Titan Quest Anniversary Edition is the company’s way of thanking longtime fans, and fostering goodwill, as they kickoff operations under a new name. “After our name change from ‘Nordic Games’ to ‘THQ Nordic’, we wanted a running start for our new identity and had to think about how to begin the new era with the most positive connotation possible (for a publisher).”
Titan Quest Anniversary Edition comes with both Titan Quest and Titan Quest: Immortal Throne. Among the additions and changes mentioned by the developer are the inclusion of Steam achievements and trading cards, plus new heroes and a hidden boss.
