Tina Armstrong Will Appear in DOA Xtreme Venus Vacation in 2022

Tina Armstrong will make her way into DOA Xtreme Venus Vacation in 2022. Producer Yasunori Sakuda revealed at the game’s 4th anniversary stream that his team is currently working on including the recurring character who has appeared since the first title came out in 1996. He also mentioned that Tina’s inclusion into Venus Vacation will be part of the franchise’s 25th anniversary celebration.

In a November 2020 interview with Famitsu, Yasunori Sakuda mentioned that it was easier to create new characters than bring existing characters because the latter already have established backgrounds. Before this announcement, Leifang was the only series character to join the roster as a post-release addition in 2018. Since then, the company has focused on adding brand-new characters like Nanami, Elise, and Koharu.

In 2015, Koei Tecmo held a popularity poll to determine nine series characters that would appear in Dead or Alive Xtreme 3. Tina ended up in eleventh place with 3.8% of the votes. With the tenth-placed Leifang already included in DOA Xtreme Venus Vacation, Tina will be the next in line in 2022.

Dead or Alive Xtreme Venus Vacation is currently available on PCs via DMM, Steam, and Johren. As of this writing, however, the game is still region-locked to Japan and Asia on all platforms mentioned above. In the same stream, Koei Tecmo also announced that it will release the game’s soundtrack on Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Music, and YouTube Music on November 25, 2021.
