Both games have a robotic sea serpent that jumps out of the water while you’re trying to cover the screen with lasers. Other metallic beasts seen in Thunderforce VI include a fire breathing distant cousin of Mecha Godzilla and a moth. Games need more moths with sunburst bullet patterns. The frantic, multi-directional shooting makes Thunderforce VI look awesome and probably worth picking up when it comes out in Japan on October 30. Sega hasn’t announced any plans to localize this, but even if they don’t someone else might. Agetec recently published a game Sega of America passed on for the DS called Touch Darts.
