Famitsu shared the latest video game software and hardware sales figures from the week of February 3 to February 9, 2020 with a debut from Granblue Fantasy Versus.
The #1 seller is Granblue Fantasy Versus with an estimate of 86,248 in sales for its opening week. That’s one of the higher debuts for a fighting game. The Arc System Works-developed Dragon Ball FighterZ saw a debut of about 68,000 in its first week in Japan back in January 2018. Last week’s champ Ring Fit Adventure charted at #2 with 23,149 units sold for Switch. And of course, Pokemon Sword & Shield at #3 with 23,114 units
In hardware sales, the Nintendo Switch sold 79,352 units plus an extra 21,609 Switch Lites to put it at a whopping 100,961 units sold in the week for the Switch family of consoles. Next, the PlayStation 4 sold 4,379 units plus an additional 2,628 units of PS4 Pros for a total of 7,007 units sold in the week.
