Tecmo Koei will re-release an enhanced port of Ninja Gaiden 3 this week. Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge starts Ryu Hayabusa off with DLC weapons from the PS3/Xbox 360 game, changes the enemy AI so soldiers don’t beg for their life, and ups the level of gore. Perhaps the most significant addition is you have multiple characters like Ayane, Momoji, and Kasumi from Dead or Alive.
Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge debuted as a Wii U launch title and Ninja Gaiden 3 is about a year old now. Will Razor’s Edge be able to cut through the sales charts? To Ryu’s benefit this week is pretty light with a Japanese version of a 3DS farming game and Defiance in the West.
