The official Hotline Miami Twitter and Facebook accounts have posted a telephone number that may contain Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number’s release date.
The number is +1 (786) 519-3708 and the accounts each added “ext 10” alongside it. If you call that number you should arrive at a recorded message that says the following in a distorted voice: “We are 50 Blessings. Together we march into the future. You have reached the wrong number.”
The word “march” is stammered and shouted a number of times in the recording, implying that it’s the important bit. And as there’s no way to enter an extension, the presumption that can be made is that the intention of this is to reveal that the release date is March 10th. Listen below.
Obviously, there’s no telling as to whether this is true yet, but it seems likely. Nor do we know that if March 10th is the release date that it applies to all the platforms it’s heading to, which is PC, PS3, PS4, and PS Vita.
Oh, and if you’re wondering, 50 Blessings is the group that leaves messages on answering machines in the Hotline Miami universe.
