However, this Evangelion Rei Ayanami figure is different from FuRyu’s F:NEX life-sized statue, which is coming out exclusively in Japan. While the immobile statue allowed FuRyu to focus on visual quality, this figurine will be posable. You can pose the Rei figurine to make her sit down, hold on to an object, or lean against a wall.

The posable figure of Rei Ayanami has a hefty price tag of 1,980,000 yen (~$18,130). The package will come with an instruction manual, a pedestal, and two small spare joint parts. Although it is unclear whether the figurine could be delivered outside Japan or not, Paper Moon R has an English webpage that explains its business policy on life-sized figures, which includes customized figures and after-service repairs.

Neon Genesis Evangelion 3.0+1.0: Thrice Upon a Time, the newest movie in the franchise, is immediately available in Japanese theaters. The movie grossed over 3.3 billion yen on its first week.
