Gundam Area Wars uses an iPhone’s GPS sensor and the time of day as game mechanics. Namco Bandai promise they will create special missions for nights and rainy days. Only the most hardcore Gundam players will brave a typhoon to capture in-game nodes!

The game also has an augmented reality feature so players can take pictures of Gundam claiming spots in Japan. All you need to do is place a marker on the ground and view it through your iPhone.

Gundam Area Wars is available on iTunes in Japan now.
