Bandai Namco opened pre-orders for a custom-engraved Gundam Char Aznable hanko seal that comes with its own miniature briefcase . The hanko seal set will cost ¥42,900 (about $378), and it will ship sometime in January 2022. Shipping is only available in Japan. [Thanks, Game Watch!]
The hanko seal features laser engravings based on Char Aznable and the Zeon army. These include Char Aznable’s signature, as well as the Zeon Army insignia, and Aznable’s personal symbol and A12 squadron number. The seal also features Zaku suit-inspired lines and designs.
Furthermore, the seal is made of pure Titanium. The stamp can fit up to four symbols in either Hiragana, Katakana, or Kanji of the buyer’s choosing. Additionally, you can also choose between three different typefaces. However, the engraving process does not support alphabet symbols.
Notably, the hanko seal set also comes with its own miniature attache-style case. The case includes a seal ink holder, as well as two special cards introducing both Char Aznable and the craftspeople involved. The miniature briefcase is around 10cm x 7cm (4 in x 3 in) in size. Similarly, the briefcase also features Char Aznable’s personal symbol in the corner.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Char Aznable associated with some interesting merchandise. Previously, Bandai collaborated with the Japan Food Collection to release cocoa cigarettes with Char Aznable on the package. Before that, Strict-G also released a series of Zeon army-branded suitcases worth $1400.
The Gundam Char Aznable seal is immediately available for pre-order in Japan via the Premium Bandai store. It costs ¥42,900 (about $378) and will ship sometime in January 2022.
