Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot DLC

Third Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot DLC Will Feature Future Trunks

The third and final piece of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot DLC is called Trunks: The Warrior of Hope. The game’s producer, Ryosuke Hara, announced the DLC during the closing ceremony of the Dragon Ball FighterZ Battle Hour. He also mentioned that the development team faced delays over the last year due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Trunks: The Warrior of Hope is scheduled to release in early summer 2021.

The DLC is based on the television special, Dragon Ball Z: The History of Trunks. It shows what happens when Goku dies from a heart virus and two androids appear to usher the world into ruin. Trunks: The Warrior of Hope depicts Trunks’ attempt to survive in the post-apocalyptic world 13 years after the virus killed Goku.

Trunks: The Warrior of Hope is part of the Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot DLC Season Pass, which also includes A New Power Awakens Part 1 and A New Power Awakens Part 2. Unlike Trunks: The Warrior of Hope, these episodes are inspired by Dragon Ball Super stories. The Season Pass comes with an in-game cooking item, too.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is immediately available for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam. Trunks: The Warrior of Hope releases early Summer 2021.
