Top Hat Studios have picked up the publishing rights to the recently funded Kickstarter project, the choice driven puzzle game, Thief’s Roulette. Previously announced for just Nintendo Switch and PC, Top Hat Studios say the game will also now be coming to “all platforms”, adding PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, “and others” to the mix, with a demo set to arrive on PCs “very soon”.

Developer hiromu656 (who previously developed the short, mystery visual novel Digital Chain) describes the game as taking the narrative heavy design of visual novels, combined with immersive, first person puzzle gameplay, likening the game to the acclaimed Danganronpa and Zero Escape series.

Thief’s Roulette takes place on a futuristic version of Earth where android life and body augmentation is rife. Your character has found themselves kidnapped along with 14 other strangers, and you all must compete in three teams of five. Win, and you survive. Lose, and you might die. Who you choose to align with may very well decide your fate, as building alliances or creating rivals will be the game’s driving force.

Thief’s Roulette is scheduled to release by September 2020 on the Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and possibly other platforms.
